- From Melbourne Airport, Tullamarine, you can get a shuttle into the city Melbourne then get a train or bus to Geelong. From Geelong you can hire a car and drive along the Great Ocean Road via Lorne[the start] to Apollo Bay.
- Or you can get the Gull bus from Tullamarine to Geelong.

The weather at this time of year, winter, in Victoria can be variable, but it is generally cool to cold, so suggested clothing would be to bring warm jacket/hat etc… as per your personal requirement. Our autumn weather this year has been particularly fine and sunny, but it could change quickly, so be prepared.
WEATHER UPDATE:Winter has arrived in the beautiful Otway ranges, some gloves would be handy if you are running in the distance events. A rain jacket could be helpful also.
Check with your airline agent when booking whether you will require a visa and give yourself plenty of time for this application to proceed.
