PRIZESParticipants will compete for more than $40,000 in prizemoney, trophies and random awards (more details later). Prizes in the TEAM CATEGORIES will be awarded courtesy of MIZUNO RUNNING SHOES AND OTHER SPONSORS.There is a prize for the first female and male City of Greater Geelong resident, to finish who hasn’t been a City of Greater Geelong representative runner at the Senshu Marathon in the last seven years. The prize includes return airfares from Sydney to Osaka, race entry and six nights’ accommodation. There are random prizes for the Kid’s Gallop. ELIGIBILITYThe Great Ocean Road Marathon program is open to everybody. However, competitors 16 years and under on race day must have declared parent or guardian consent. MARATHON/HALF MARATHON TIMESAll competitors who complete the full course in the marathon and half-marathon events will receive two sets of times in the official results – marathon entrants at the 42.195km mark and 45kms, and half-marathon entrants at the 21.0975km and 23kms.
